Come knock the rust off and get ready for baseball! This jamboree is intended for travel teams to get prepared for their normal league and tournament season. Three hours of scrimmages against two different teams with umpires. We will try to schedule 12s-14s on Saturday and 9s-10s on Sunday. Start times no earlier than 10 am to try to avoid the cold early morning game. When: April 30th and May 1st Where: Quigley and King Fields Cost: $100 What: 3 hours of scrimmage time. 2 ~ 1.5 hours scrimmages against 2 different teams. 1 umpire per field. Rules: Coaches allowed in the field during play on defense. Play 6 outs per inning, clearing the bases after 3rd out and change after the 6th out. Typically, coaches will switch pitchers every three outs. Coaches discuss if they want to add or subtract anything. Work with umpires on anything they miss. This will be their first opportunity in the field as well. Hard stop at 1.5 hours as a team will need to change field. 10 minutes between scrimmages. Second scrimmage will be 1 hour 25 minutes hard stop.
