Quick Glance - Rules for 9U
* 6-innings, no new inning after 2 hours
* Bases: 60' | Pitching: 46'
* Dropped 3rd Strike: Batter is out
* Pitching Rules: No leading off; No balks. (See fake pitch rule.)
* Pitch Count: 50/game, rest day requirements (MBL league/playoff games only; this count and rest day rule is separate from tournaments)
- PENALTY: Pitcher is removed; head coach is ejected and suspended
- Pitcher may go over 50/game to finish an at-bat; rest day rules are still in effect
* Leading Off: No leading off. Leave base when pitch crosses home plate
* Curve Balls: No curve balls or breaking pitches.
* Courtesy Runner: Catcher only, anytime, last out runs for catcher
* Continuous Batting, free substitution
* 10-Run Rule/Official Game after 3.5 or 4 innings
* 9U: Runner who starts at 3rd base at time of pitch can only advance on a batted ball, walk/hit-by-pitch, or if played upon
